This role will be jointly responsible for the management of all non-clinical services in the neurosciences directorate, providing line management and leadership to a portfolio of the non-clinical staff.


The role reports directly to the Deputy Operations Director and will provide critical leadership for the directorate. You will be at the heart of service delivery, driving performance improvement and working closely with the Clinical Leads, Clinical Director, and a talented clinical team to shape the future of care.

The post holder will be jointly responsible for the management of all non-clinical services in the directorate, providing line management and leadership to a portfolio of the non-clinical staff. In collaboration with the Matron and Clinical Lead, they will ensure that resources are available and utilised effectively to provide high standards of service, teaching, and research in this patient-centred environment. The post holder will be responsible for the attainment of financial, activity, and waiting time targets.
