Position: Service Manager - Mental Health

Location: Chester, UK

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 per annum + car allowance

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to oversee our Mental Health supported living services in Chester and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have a level 4 qualification in care or above and a minimum of 3 years of management experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Mental Health supported living services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to service users
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and requirements
  • Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the services
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care and support is provided to service users
Qualifications
  • Level 4 qualification in care or above
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a mental health care setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
