Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Diabetes and Endocrinology team as a Service Manager.

This role supports Medical Operational Management to deliver high-quality patient care.

We are seeking an organized individual with strong administrative and leadership skills. If interested in secondment, ensure you have your line manager's approval before applying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily management support to ensure smooth operations of all services.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing clinics, appointment systems, and scheduling.
  • Support in investigating and responding to patient complaints promptly, following Trust policies.
  • Monitor patient pathways, activity, and waiting lists to meet access targets.

You will line manage secretarial and administrative staff, participate in recruitment, conduct personal development reviews, and handle disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and performance issues. Ensuring staff training and effective work allocation are also key aspects of the role.
