Be the Difference: Service Manager - Bracknell

  • Location: The Courthouse, Broadway, Bracknell, RG12 1AE
  • 36 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £31,000 (FTE)
  • Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2026

They are looking for a passionate Service Manager to oversee their play and short break services in Bracknell, including after-school clubs, weekend activities, and holiday programmes.

What You\'ll Do

As Service Manager, you\'ll be the driving force behind their Bracknell services. You\'ll:

  • Lead and support a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of care and ambition
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community organisations
  • Ensure services meet the highest standards of safeguarding, quality, and inclusion
  • Listen to families and young people, shaping services around what truly matters
  • Spot opportunities for growth, funding, and innovation to keep Kids at the forefront of SEND support

You\'ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery—setting direction while staying grounded in the day-to-day.

What You\'ll Bring

We\'re looking for someone with:

  • Experience managing services in children\'s care, education, or a related field
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support teams
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Financial and organisational confidence to manage budgets and resources
  • A relevant Level 5 qualification in Children and Young People / Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
