Opportunities to join our Adults and Older Adults portfolio at Service Manager level do not come along often. We are looking for a proactive and values-led leader to join our management team and take responsibility for a diverse range of mental health services across Bradford District and Craven, including services embedded within primary and secondary care. The portfolio of services that you will oversee offer early intervention for people accessing mental health support via their GP and ongoing support for people with severe mental illness.
This post is an opportunity to make a visible difference: shaping how services develop, strengthening the experience of the people who use them and ensuring inclusive, innovative and high-quality support is available at the right time. Working alongside talented Coordinators and Practitioners, and with partners, commissioners and other stakeholders, you will turn insight into action, drive continuous improvement and help our services respond confidently to changing local needs.
As Service Manager, you will have the scope to lead, influence and innovate. You will bring together people, partnerships and ideas to shape the future of mental health support for adults and older adults. You will take ownership of services supporting people across Bradford District and Craven with a broad spectrum of mental health needs, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible and responsive, and that quality and safety remain at the heart of delivery. This includes providing clear oversight so that incidents, risks and safeguarding concerns are recognised, addressed appropriately and used to strengthen learning and practice across your services.
You will lead a passionate team of Coordinators and Practitioners, creating a positive and supportive environment where people can do their best work and where compassion, quality and ambition go hand in hand. Your leadership will help to drive performance, encourage fresh thinking and build strong partnerships that extend our reach and strengthen our services. You will be supported by the Head of Service and work alongside experienced colleagues across the portfolio, giving you the guidance, collaboration and space to grow in the role. For someone who wants to develop their leadership, improve how things are done and see the difference their contribution makes, this is a fantastic opportunity.
