Job summary

Enable is seeking a Service Manager to lead Care at Home and Housing Support services across the North East. The role involves guiding frontline teams to deliver person-centred support that helps people live independently in their own homes and communities.

You will drive a positive culture, health and safety, and continuous improvement, while building partnerships with families, carers and external providers. Travel between services is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading and managing Supported Living Services.
• Experience managing teams with knowledge of culture change.
• Commitment to the inclusion of people with a learning disability.
• An understanding of the Self Directed Support Act and its principles.
• SVQ Level 4 or ability to work towards the relevant qualification for SSSC registration; SVQ Health & Social Care Level 3 is essential.
• Ability to build and sustain partnerships with stakeholders, commissioners and third sector providers.
• Ability to lead the local business strategy while promoting ENABLE Scotland and growing the service.
• Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.

Based in Fraserborough, including travel to Dundee & Aberdeenshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Manager to lead and develop our Care at Home and Housing Support services across the North East. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing leadership and oversight across a range of services and supporting teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that enables people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities.

You’ll be responsible for creating a positive culture, developing and supporting your teams, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the people we support experience excellent outcomes. You’ll build strong relationships with the people we support, families, colleagues and external partners, while ensuring our services maintain high standards of quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse geographical area, so a flexible approach to travel between services is essential.

A successful Service Manager will lead their teams to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with the family and Social Care professionals involved in the lives of the people we support.
