We are a leading provider of care and support services for individuals with learning disabilities in Weston-super-Mare. Our organization is committed to providing high-quality care and support to help our service users lead fulfilling and independent lives. We are currently looking for a Service Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our service users.
  • Lead and motivate a team of support staff to ensure they are providing person-centered care and support to our service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all service users' care plans are up to date and regularly reviewed to meet their changing needs.
  • Monitor and manage the service's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed in line with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or a similar role within the care sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in budget management and financial planning.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Full UK driving license.
