Service Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Operations Team at our Newark Operation Centre. You'll be required to manage and support a large team of service drivers who provide vital waste disposal products and services to our customers' premises.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Centre Manager in managing productivity levels of the depot to ensure high-quality service standards.
  • Resource planning and supporting the development of all members of our service team.
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and comply with relevant legislation and health and safety policies at the centre and for all company vehicles.
  • Checking and maintaining vehicles and equipment to ensure safety for colleagues and customers.
Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 2 years of management experience within operations or transport logistics sector.
  • Transport management experience/CPC preferred but not essential.
  • Energetic and inspirational leader capable of motivating teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Valid, full driving license for at least 12 months (max 6 points).
  • Understanding of health and safety in the workplace, preferably IOSH trained.
  • Customer-focused with resource and time management skills.
  • Previous transport experience essential.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
