Qualifications

Job description
Overview

Domus are looking for a Services Manager in Canterbury to support a number of Young People within Supported Housing accommodations. Reporting into the Registered Manager (OFSTED), you will lead a team of dedicated Support Workers in leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
  • Overseeing the overall delivery of the service
  • Working closely with internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
  • Overseeing the service’s financial performance and managing the budget
  • Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff
  • Flexibility around working hours is expected in accordance with the needs of the service
  • Responsibility for health and safety in the service
The ideal candidate will have
  • Previous experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service, able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working with Young People is essential
  • Knowledge of Ofsted Regulations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Compassionate, caring, and hard working with a hands-on approach to support
  • Experience of working in a personalised way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
  • Travel is a requirement of the role; a full valid driving licence is essential
