Job description

Are you an experienced leader in health and social care looking for your next challenge? We’re working on behalf of an established and reputable neurorehabilitation service to recruit a Service Manager who can make a real difference in people’s lives.

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly specialist service in Llanelli that provides life-changing support to individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries. You’ll lead a passionate, multidisciplinary team and be responsible for delivering outstanding care while driving operational excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Leading and managing a committed team of professionals, including clinical staff
  • Ensuring delivery of person-centred, high-quality care tailored to individual needs
  • Driving compliance with CQC and relevant health & social care legislation
  • Managing staffing, budgets, recruitment, and service development
  • Acting as a key representative to external partners, referrers, and commissioners
  • Implementing annual business plans to support service growth
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive culture and staff wellbeing across the service

This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to inspire and motivate others will be vital. You’ll need to be a confident decision-maker who can manage change and build strong professional relationships internally and externally.

What We’re Looking For:
  • QCF/NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven management experience within health or social care
  • Strong understanding of neurorehabilitation or complex needs services (desirable)
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership, financial, and operational skills
  • Experience with staff supervision, performance management, and service improvement
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
