Job description

Service Management Analyst - £300 - £350 Per Day - Remote

I am currently looking for a Service Management Analyst with strong experience in ServiceNow and payroll-related IT services to support a major business separation programme at a leading consumer company. You will be working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure service continuity, effective handover, and clean separation of key IT services-particularly those linked to payroll and HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Service Management SME for payroll-related services, ensuring processes are well-defined, documented, and transitioned effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and 3rd party vendors to manage the split of ServiceNow-based services.
  • Maintain service integrity and user experience throughout the separation project.
  • Support service design, readiness, and transition into BAU.
  • Ensure service reporting, SLAs, and operational support models are separation-ready.
  • Work across incident, problem, change, and request processes, ensuring continuity pre- and post-separation.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Service Management Analyst or similar role in complex environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow (ITSM modules essential).
  • Experience supporting or managing payroll systems or services (e.g. ADP, SAP, Workday).
  • Track record of delivering in separation, divestment, or carve-out programmes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement - able to work across business, HR, and IT teams.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3/v4 principles and operational support frameworks
