Job summary

Spider Web Recruitment Ltd is advertising a permanent Service Leader role based in Felixstowe, Suffolk, to support autistic adults and individuals with learning disabilities. The position offers full-time and part-time options and a salary of £35,000-£40,000 per year, dependent on experience.

You will lead person-centred support, oversee staff development, manage risk assessments, safeguarding, and ensure compliance with CQC and the Mental Capacity Act.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in adult social care.
• Experience supporting autistic adults and/or adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong understanding of adult safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead person-centred support, respecting individual communication and preferences.
• Observe, guide and develop staff, address poor practice and promote reflective learning.
• Oversee support plans, risk assessments, safeguarding, medicines practice and incident management.
• Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and relevant legislation.
• Support staff recruitment, induction, supervision, training and performance management.
• Collaborate with families, representatives and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement.
