Job description

Service Lead (Systemic & Workforce), Children's Services

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Service Lead (Systemic & Workforce) within Children's Services, based in Wandsworth.

The salary for this role is up to £80,874 per annum.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Providing leadership based on a clear vision, standards, and outcomes.
  2. Developing, planning, and delivering a systemic service, embedding systemic practices into all aspects of Children's Social Care.
  3. Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Service Lead to link quality assurance with practice improvement.
  4. Ensuring services are evaluated for quality and outcomes, with continuous improvements in response to children's needs.
  5. Coordinating workforce development, recruitment, and retention activities.
  6. Meeting national and local performance and quality indicators effectively and promptly.
  7. Monitoring safeguarding responsibilities, staff performance, and training.
  8. Undertaking relevant training, including child protection, and participating in meetings and seminars to support communication and development.
  9. Planning and managing change programs and projects to improve service outcomes.
  10. Promoting diversity, inclusion, and maintaining a respectful environment.

This list is not exhaustive; other duties, including supporting emergency situations, may be assigned.

Requirements for this role include:

  1. A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
  3. Registration or eligibility for registration.
  4. Good knowledge of relevant legislation.
