Job summary

Cornerstone in West Dunbartonshire is seeking an experienced Service Lead to manage our Health & Social Care Community Support service on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This full-time role (39 hours per week) offers leadership over Lead Practitioners and Support Practitioners, coaching, and ensuring person-centred outcomes.

You'll lead service improvement, foster a positive team culture, and work closely with colleagues, families, and the wider community.

Qualifications

Experience of leading, supporting or developing teams within Health & Social Care.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Flexibility and ability to work independently.
Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Willing to undertake on-call duties.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a dedicated team of Lead Practitioners and Support Practitioners.
Drive continuous improvement across the service.
Promote a culture of high-quality, person-centred support.
Ensure the people we support are empowered to achieve their goals, develop their independence and live the life they choose.
Work collaboratively with other Service Leads and Lead Practitioners within the branch to share learning and best practice.
Build positive relationships with colleagues, families, professionals and the wider community.
Take on Registered Manager responsibilities, providing an opportunity to further develop your leadership experience.
