Job description

Conexus Healthcare are looking for a Service Lead to join the clinical services team to support the delivery of GP Care Wakefield.

You will support the GP Care Wakefield team by utilising your fantastic organisation & communication skills to coordinate service delivery, our workforce and our GP Care Wakefield sites.

You will work a shift pattern to cover service opening times on evenings & weekends with other Service Leads. You will work 30 hours per week and your shift pattern will be:

  • Tuesday: Day Off
  • Thursday: Day Off
  • Saturday: 08:30-17:00 (once every 5 weeks on a planned rota)
  • Sunday: 08:30-13:00 (once every 5 weeks on a planned rota)

Please note: In addition to the salary listed, an additional 29% unsociable hours payment will be made for 10 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Your role will be to ensure the service is all set for safe and successful delivery. You will work with our sessional clinicians and admin staff to support them to have an effective and enjoyable shift.

As part of the Clinical Services team, you will deliver projects to improve systems and processes with support from colleagues with wide-ranging expertise.

This role will be perfect for someone who has great communication and organisation skills.

You’ll really stand out if you have primary care management experience.

Corporate Services: Conexus delivers HR, communications, administration, governance, and financial support services to our PCNs and the wider Conexus family. We aim to provide this function to Wakefield general practices.
