Overview

Service Installation Team Leader – Walsall, WS2. Permanent position. £40,000 per annum. Immediate start.

Service Installation Team Leader required to lead and work hands-on with a team to support business growth in the Greater Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers who install and maintain a variety of products across the Greater Midlands.
• Mix of leadership and fieldwork, including:
• Conducting installations, repairs, and surveys across residential and commercial sites.
• Managing engineer performance reviews, training, and technical support.
• Overseeing stock control, equipment suitability, and quality assurance.
• Handling internal maintenance tasks and facilities support.
• Attending monthly management meetings and liaising with internal admin teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Installations.
• Certified to 18th Edition regulations.
• Experience in leading engineering or maintenance teams.
• Skilled in electrical fault-finding and basic plumbing.
• Confident communicator and supportive leader.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel (PowerPoint a bonus).
• Holds a full clean UK driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS check required due to the client base.
