Job Description

Are you passionate about driving service growth in the power and industrial sectors? We are looking for a seasoned Service Growth Sales Manager to join our sales team and lead the charge in expanding our service offerings.

This is a high-impact role focused on selling services related to our power and automation equipment, including upgrades, long-term service agreements, and brownfield projects. You will work closely with existing and new clients across the UK and Nordics, helping them modernize and maintain critical infrastructure while promoting our future-focused digital solutions.

Core responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow service offerings across the UK and Nordic regions.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders including tendering and application engineering teams.
  • Promote and sell digital service offerings such as cybersecurity and virtual reality solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites and industry events (domestic and international).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for service-related inquiries and proposals.
  • Support the preparation of tenders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling service solutions.
Essential requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within an electrical engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, drives, and automation systems.
  • Experience working in the power or industrial sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to lead complex sales cycles.
  • Readiness to travel across assigned regions.
  • Fluency in English; additional Nordic languages are a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Valid passport and driver's license to meet travel requirements.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain security clearance to BPSS level.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
  • A background in Power Conversion, ideally associated with the sales of power electronics, automation or digital solutions, including cybersecurity.
  • Previous commercial experience with Salesforce.

This role involves work for customers who manage critical infrastructure; based on customer requirements it will be necessary to carry out background checks and suitability assessments (UK BPSS clearance OR UK SC clearance) as part of the hiring process.
