Overview

Location: Goudhurst, Kent (TN17)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,200 – £26,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (some flexibility required)

Hydrosphere Innovations Ltd is looking for a hands-on, practical, and reliable person to join our small and friendly team as a Service & Equipment Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in a varied technical role. You’ll help maintain and prepare equipment, manage stock and supplies, and support the day-to-day running of our water treatment equipment rental business. Full training is provided – including safe use of tools, equipment servicing, and even forklift training if needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with servicing and preparing equipment (training provided)
  • Use and maintain hand tools and workshop machinery
  • Monitor and manage stock, tools, and consumables
  • Communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and drivers
  • Help meet team goals and deadlines
  • Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organised
  • Sugg est ways to improve how we work
Qualifications
  • Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work
  • Comfortable using tools or keen to learn
  • Reliable, organised, and detail-focused
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive, problem-solving attitude
  • Able to carry out manual tasks
  • Computer literate
  • Must have a full, clean UK driving licence (may be asked to drive a van or use pallet/forklift equipment)
  • Mechanical or electrical knowledge is helpful but not essential – training will be given
