Job Description: Service Engineering Coordinator - MC270232

We are seeking a Service Engineering Coordinator for a manufacturer of equipment/machinery based in Harwich, Essex.

Position Overview

• Manage the service engineers' time to meet or exceed efficiency targets.
• Proactively increase spares and service revenue to meet or exceed targets.
• Identify and supply spare parts to customers promptly.
• Prepare and deliver quotations efficiently.
• Visit customers regularly to maintain satisfaction.
• Attend service visits to support the team.
• Improve spare parts processes and revenue.
• Provide high-standard customer support and seek assistance when needed.
• Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely invoice payments.
• Prioritize customer concerns from various locations.
• Project manage aftermarket sales with the technical team.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager on marketing spares and services.
• Attend trade shows as necessary.

Position Requirements

• Customer service or sales experience.
• Positive attitude, even in difficult situations.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Drive sales and improve procedures.
• Experience with Sage Accounts and Sage Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot).
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Willingness to work additional hours when needed.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Full-time role: Mon-Thu 08:30-17:00, Fri 08:30-16:00.
• Location: Harwich, Essex, with extensive UK travel and some overseas work.
• Salary: £25,000-£28,000 during a 6-month probation, with potential increases and bonuses.
