Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer to service and repair safes and access control systems from Bristol and the surrounding area. This Monday–Friday days-based role offers overtime, a personal-use company van, and strong progression opportunities.

You will travel across the Southwest, diagnose faults, and service locking systems while benefiting from regular training to upskill and grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar.
• Experience with locking systems, access control systems or safes.
• Recognised Locksmith training.
• Commutable to Bristol with full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

Service Engineer (Safes and Access Control Systems)

Are you a Service Engineer or similar, who wants to work for one of the South West’s leading companies in the Access Control and Safe Engineering industry where you will cover a local patch, in a Monday – Friday days-based role where you can greatly increase your Earnings through overtime?

In this role you will be based in Bristol, with some travel within the local patch. You will be tasked with servicing and repairing safes and lock systems, Aswell as supporting other Service Engineers to ensure service is being delivered efficiently,

This role would suit an experienced Service Engineer or Safe Engineer with a background in the Locksmith industry or similar.

The Role:

• Carry out regular service, maintenance, and detailed repairs on Safes and Access Control Systems
• Travel to sites across the Southwest of England
• Diagnose faults, and maintain access control systems, door entry, and electronic locking mechanisms
• Use internal and external training resources to upskill yourself

The Person

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar background
• Experience with locking systems, access control systems or safes
• Must have Recognized Locksmith training
• Commutable to Bristol with full UK driving license
