Responsibilities

The role:

Our Safety and Security engineering team is central to our business. Multi-skilled across various technologies and products, our engineers have extensive knowledge built over many years. Customer service is a priority, and we strive to deliver the highest engineering standards. The role includes mentored training and development, with opportunities for future progression and succession planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, commissioning, and servicing a range of field equipment including fire and intruder alarm systems, CCTV, access control, audio-visual, public address, and voice alarm systems.
  • Retrofitting upgrades and extensions to existing systems as part of remedial works.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Understanding site plans for installations based on survey documentation.
  • Responding to reactive call-outs with a focus on first-time fixes.
  • Offering on-site technical support and solutions during reactive and planned visits.
  • Completing documentation according to company standards.
  • Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Participating in a 24/7 on-call rota.
  • Advising customers on new products and services to enhance efficiency.
