Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Service Engineer (Mechanical) to service, install and maintain commercial wash systems across the Northeast, extending to the Scottish central belt with occasional travel to Manchester and Sheffield.

You’ll receive a base salary of £40,000–£44,000 with a £55,000 OTE, plus door-to-door pay, a company van, 33 days holiday, and in-house training with progression to Senior roles.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Electrical fault finding on PLCs and wash systems beneficial.
• Full training on PLCs and wash systems provided.

Are you a Service Engineer from a mechanical background looking to join a thriving and well-established company offering excellent in-house training on commercial wash systems and progression opportunities to Senior Service Engineer positions?

In this role you will cover a patch over the Northeast of England up to the central belt of Scotland with occasional travel down to Leeds and Sheffield. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and installing commercial wash systems for a variety of high-profile clients such as Stagecoach and FirstBus.

This role would suit a Service Engineer form a mechanical background looking to transition into a new and exciting sector with a company that will provide training on commercial wash systems, PLCs and electrical fault finding to make you a more well-rounded Engineer?

The Role:

• Servicing, installing and maintaining commercial wash systems
• Electrical fault finding on PLCs and wash systems (full training provided)
• Cover a Northeast patch up to the Scottish central belt, with occasional travel down to Manchester and Sheffield

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week. Overtime available at 1.25x
