Service Engineer – High Pressure Chemical Lab Reactors

This specialist equipment provider is searching for a well-rounded mechanically biased engineer, ideally with exposure to chemical reactors (lab, pilot or industrial scale) or other high-pressure equipment.

About The Role
As a Service Engineer you will work at my clients' service centre and on customers sites across the UK (with an average of 4 nights away per month). Any travel is conducted Mon-Fri and therefore doesn’t encroach on weekends.

About You
The successful candidate must be multiskilled (electromechanical) with a mechanical bias and possess hands-on experience as a service engineer / technician on high pressure systems, reactors or affiliated chemical equipment.
It's essential you have a logical and methodical approach to fault-finding, enjoy a diverse role and possess engineering qualifications such as a time served apprenticeship, City & Guilds, HNC, HND or Degree.
Any experience using CAD design software would be highly advantageous but not essential, as is a knowledge or education in Chemical Engineering.
A UK driving license is needed, as is the rights to work in the UK. My client doesn’t offer sponsorship.
Location: Based in the Northwest, West/South Yorkshire or Midlands (North of Birmingham)
