Job summary

Brandon Hire Station is seeking a Service Engineer (Fitter) to maintain and repair a wide range of rental assets at the West Drayton depot. You will actively ensure assets are available for hire and support branch operations, including covering counter duties when needed.

The role requires experience with machinery, good IT skills, and a clean driving licence. The position offers a competitive salary and a strong benefits package within VP plc.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with machinery and tools, both mechanical and electrical.
• Professional customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
• Comfortable using IT equipment and basic software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Brandon Hire Station assets to keep them ready for hire.
• Attend equipment breakdowns at customer sites as required.
• Record data on time allocation, spares used, and stock levels in company systems.
