About The Job

Salary: £37,500 - £41,750 per annum

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The company specialises in the supply and maintenance of industrial floor sweepers and floor scrubber dryers. They offer flexible hire, sales, and maintenance throughout the UK and for all industrial and commercial applications.

We are looking for a Service Engineer Mechanical Fitter to join their team. Suitable candidates should have equivalent skills/experience of at least a Level 2 vehicle mechanic. The role will consist of analysing, servicing and repair of large industrial cleaning equipment based out of our workshops near Scotch Corner.

Equipment you will work on is primarily battery powered with some LPG and diesel machines. Full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities Include

  • Checking the functioning of the machines to determine whether they are in full working order.
  • Servicing the machines and looking for damage, replacing any necessary parts.
  • Looking for any kind of faults and rectify to improve the overall performance of the machines.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, tidy, and well organised working environment within the workshop.
  • Understanding and co-operating fully in all Health & Safety matters.

DETAILS

  • 45-hour week, 8am-5pm (40 working + 5 paid hours breaks per week)
  • No weekend working
  • 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
  • On-site parking
