Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Engineer. You will play a key role in supporting a wide range of customers across Wales, ensuring that equipment installations, maintenance, and service requests are handled efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

This is an exciting opportunity to work independently while being supported by a collaborative team in a well-established business.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment to ensure reliability and safety standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, minimising downtime for customers.
  • Provide on-site technical guidance, training, and support to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Manage and organise your daily workload while maintaining clear history records of service and repairs.
  • Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including occasional weekend assignments and overnight stays when needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A strong technical and/or mechanical background with proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in a service-oriented or engineering role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to support customer needs effectively.
  • The ability to work independently, yet thrive as part of a cohesive team.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to travel across South Wales and adjust to schedules as needed.
  • A valid UK driving licence (required).
