Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Business based in Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds

Position is working within the Northern to central Kent area.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience per annum

Portico GB Limited is a leading subcontractor to the new build industry based in Woolpit, near to Bury St Edmunds.

The Role – Site Service Engineer/Window Fitter:

Due to continued expansion, we require a Site Service Engineer within our window department. The successful candidate would live within Northern/central Kent area, must be willing to travel as our sites are based all over Kent area. This would suit an ex-window fitter who has experience of fitting windows and doors into new build plots. A valid CSCS Card is essential and a full driving licence. Basic hours for this role are 40 per week. An excellent remuneration package is offered. Van will be provided.

You will be responsible for remedial/repair works to windows/doors on live construction developments in a safe and timely manner.

• You will be required to deal with the initial visit and uncover the problems that exist.
• You will appoint your own diary on liaison with the office.
• Collating and processing of client documents.
• Dealing with the office on parts needed.
• To complete reports of each visit accurately.
• To undertake other work to which you are capable and carry out any other duties, which may be required when service work loads are quiet.
