The Vacancy
Ideally based in Cambridge, Peterborough, or Chelmsford area; post codes IP and CO will be considered for the right candidate.
Reporting directly to the Services Manager, you will work closely with an Exeter-based Service team. Your primary responsibility will be completing warranty and annual service work for Gas, Electric, and Solid Fuel heating appliances. The role includes diagnosing faults and repairing appliances in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Additional duties involve maintaining Gazco and Stovax appliances within dealer showrooms and performing chargeable annual servicing and repairs for customers, aiming to retain their servicing requirements for the following year.
Although the role covers a specific area, travel across most UK regions will be necessary, with potential stays away from home up to 4 nights a week. A fully equipped van, laptop/iPad, and phone will be provided.
