Job description

Our Client, a highly specialised engineering company, is looking to add to their technical team by appointing a Service Engineer with knowledge of automated equipment in high volume engineering.

As a Service Engineer, a willingness to travel and be flexible is essential. However, this role is predominantly Midlands-based, so you should be home more often than not. A significant portion of your work is planned in advance (i.e., preventative not reactive), which should ensure some degree of work-life balance. On-call duties are also minimal.

To be considered for the role of Service Engineer, you will need:

  1. Proven service experience within an automated manufacturing environment (e.g., Disamatic Moulding, CNC Machines, Packaging Machinery, Automated Metrology, Conveyor Systems, Robotic Welding, or similar).
  2. The ability to be a self-starter and manage your own workload.
  3. The desire to progress your career and put new ideas forward to help achieve business goals.

In return for fulfilling the role of Service Engineer, my client can offer a generous salary of up to £35,000 with a realistic OTE of £45,000. Perhaps more importantly, there is the opportunity to join a growing business with lots of future progression and the ability to work independently quickly.
