Job summary

Detail 2 Limited is seeking a Service Engineer for Manufacturing & Engineering in the North West, offering a competitive salary up to £45,000. The role involves maintenance, fault finding, and on-site support for compressed air systems across customer sites.

You will document work, adhere to health and safety standards, and travel locally with a company van. A technical qualification or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering is preferred, and a full UK driving license

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance on industrial equipment, preferably compressed air systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out mechanical/electrical repairs.

Service Engineer - Responsibilities and Requirements

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on compressed air systems and associated equipment.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete repairs and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

• Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices when working with industrial equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally to customer sites.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload effectively, and maintain accurate service records.
