Service Engineer West Yorkshire Mechanically Biased - GBP37-40k + x1.5 overtime + 25 days holiday + pool van UK coverage

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.

The company has been established for over 40 years and is a well-known brand in their market, known for manufacturing high quality, long lasting machines.

Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include:

  • Service Engineers applying are likely to be mechanically biased, with some electrical appreciation/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of working in food factory environments - strongly preferred.
  • Growing company with over 25% increase in year on year turnover.
  • Hours worked over 37.3/week are paid at x1.5.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and involve Sales team with identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification ideal.
  • Prepare RAMS.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
  • Inspect site work, carry out surveys and maintain service stock.
  • Complete team appraisals.
  • The company is easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including places such as Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Shipley, Halifax and Otley. When the successful Service Engineer isn’t out on customer sites, they’ll be based on the shop floor in West Yorkshire.
