SWARCO Smart Charging has a large number of Electric Vehicle charging units installed throughout the UK. Part of our responsibility is ongoing service support and planned preventative maintenance of these products. We have a new vacancy for a Service Engineer to join our team in Scotland.

What you will do

Our ideal candidate will be based in and around Scotland, where your responsibility will be to provide ongoing service support and planned preventative maintenance of these products. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining the equipment, which involves installation, visual inspection, testing of charging mode protocols, and cleaning of the products.

You will also need to adhere to the responsibilities and duties outlined in the organisation's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring your own safety and that of others.

Your Profile

What we are looking for

• Methodical fault-finding skills
• Experience with PCs and networking environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capability to work under pressure in a client-controlled environment
• Willingness to travel frequently between sites
• Prepared to travel further including flights and overnight stays
• Courteous manner with clear communication skills with all client staff levels
• Full, clean UK driver’s license (max 3 points considered)
