Zusammenfassung

ASL is seeking a highly motivated service and maintenance engineer for our award winning Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business engineering client. The role offers an excellent salary circa £40k-£43k+ dependent on experience, plus benefits including annual company bonus, generous holiday, healthcare and a strong pension scheme.

You will install, service and repair onsite machinery, read hydraulic and electrical diagrams, and carry out diagnostics and PDI testing.

Qualifikationen

• Maintenance, service and repair of plant-based electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Experience as a service engineer for vehicles, plant machinery or heavy fleet.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Engineering qualifications in maintenance, electrical or electro-mechanical fields (HNC/HND or Level 2/3 or above).
• Electrical bias/electro-mechanical experience with 12/24V DC automotive/plant systems preferred.

• Installation, maintenance, refurbishment, repair and service of onsite machinery.
• Diagnostic, inspection, part identification, testing and fault rectification of electrical machinery.
• Installation of safety systems, calibration and testing of safety controls and panels.
• PDI inspections and testing for returned and outgoing machinery for sale or exhibitions.

A highly motivated service and maintenance engineer is required for our award winning Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business engineering client. Ideal Skills and Experiences

• Previous maintenance, installation, service and repair experience of plant based electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, general machinery servicing
• Good service engineering, maintenance engineering experience ideally of vehicles, plant machinery, large vehicle fleet, any petrol, diesel engines generators, machinery or similar
• Good ability and experience in interpreting and reading hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams
• Engineering qualifications in maintenance, service, electrical, electro- mechanical engineering fields- HNC, HND, level 2 engineering or level 3 engineering or above ideally
• Electrical Engineering experience, electrical bias engineer, electro-mechanical engineer (12/24v DC automotive / Plant type systems preferable

Desirable

• Experience of repairing construction plant, MHE, FLT, lifting equipment, powered access machinery, cranes, telehandlers, scissor lifts etc
• Communication system experience eg CAN bus
• Ex forces service maintenance engineers, REME technician engineers, RE plant operator engineers with good service and maintenance experience of plant, trucks, tanks, heavy plant equipment, fleet of vehicles, would be of distinct interest

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, refurbishment repair and service of the onsite machinery
• Diagnostic, inspection, part identification, testing, service and repair, rectification of faults of electrical machinery
• Installation of safety systems, calibration and testing ( safety controls systems and control panels on plant equipment)
• PDI inspections, preparations and testing for returning machinery and outgoing machinery for sale to customers, exhibitions and the fleet
