Established leader in the food processing sector, renowned for its cutting-edge automated food processing machinery and packaging equipment. This role not only promises a competitive OTE of £41,000 per annum, which increases with experience, but also offers a range of benefits including extensive training programmes, generous holiday entitlements, and a supportive, dynamic work environment. As a Service Engineer, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the high standards and efficiency that our client is celebrated for.


Generally working Monday – Friday 40 hours per week – There will be early or late starts as well as nights away on occasion.

What You Will Do:

  • Install, maintain, and commission state-of-the-art machinery and equipment across the UK.
  • Swiftly respond to emergency breakdowns, working under pressure to restore failed systems.
  • Conduct planned maintenance and coordinate effectively with customers.
  • Provide invaluable 'help desk' support and advice to customers via telephone and e-communication.
  • Compile detailed written service reports following fault diagnostics and repair.
  • Participate in training sessions at the company’s headquarters and abroad to enhance your skills and knowledge.


What You Will Bring:

  • A robust electrical/ mechanical background, evidenced both verbally and through formal qualifications.
  • Experience in a food processing/ manufacturing/ electrical/ mechanical environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, during unsociable hours, and in various locations.
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • A willingness to undertake extensive training and to travel, including some overseas assignments.

You will have current or recent experience as a field service engineer, service technician, maintenance engineer, electrical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, system builder or electrical technician
