Poste

The Service Engineer will work independently or as part of a team. The main activity involves servicing electrical and automated lifting equipment, both indoors and outdoors.

You should have significant experience with lifting equipment, primarily mechanical, with basic electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities include fault finding, analyzing electrical wiring, reporting automation faults, and isolating electrical devices to a safe state.

The role involves working during normal weekday hours, with possible call-outs at night and on weekends on a rota basis.

Profil
  • BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Automation, with up-to-date 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in customer relations, from an integrated maintenance team or outsourced service company.
  • Certifications such as CSCS, Safety Passport, Asbestos awareness, Harness, and Work at Height are mandatory. A full clean driving license is required.
  • Fluent in English, capable of reading and writing brief technical reports and intervention job cards.
  • Proficient with tablet and smartphone technology for daily job reports.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, communicative, with good interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Leadership experience in interventions would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of automation and programming is a plus; ability to identify programming faults is appreciated.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor reports to the audience are essential.
