Job summary

Kinetic plc, based in Stonehaven, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in pumps and rotating equipment. You will disassemble, inspect, repair and re-assemble rotating machinery, ensuring safety and high quality standards to meet customer requirements.

A time-served fitter/engineer with proven pump experience and the ability to read technical drawings and manuals is essential. You will join a small, skilled service team and may work overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect and repair pumps and other rotating equipment within agreed deadlines

• Work in line with industry standards and company procedures
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals

Job description

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer to join an established and growing engineering business based in Stonehaven. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer with proven experience working with pumps and rotating equipment to join a skilled service team and work on a wide variety of equipment, ranging from multi-stage, high-pressure units through to smaller over-hung end suction pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair and re-assembly of various rotating equipment, primarily pumps, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Package

• Salary range in between £35,000 and £40,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Thursday 08:00 until 16:30
• Friday 07:00 until 13:30

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect and repair pumps and other rotating equipment within agreed deadlines
• Re-assemble equipment to the required standards and specifications
• Complete all work to a high standard to achieve customer satisfaction
