Job summary

Kinetic plc, based in Stonehaven, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in pumps and rotating equipment. You will disassemble, inspect, repair and re-assemble rotating machinery, ensuring safety and high quality standards to meet customer requirements.

A time-served fitter/engineer with proven pump experience and the ability to read technical drawings and manuals is essential. You will join a small, skilled service team and may work overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Time-served fitter/engineer with proven pumps experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and methodical approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect and repair pumps and other rotating equipment within agreed deadlines
• Re-assemble equipment to required standards and specifications
• Complete work to a high standard to achieve customer satisfaction
• Assist with preparation of technical reports per company standards
• Work in line with industry standards and company procedures
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
• Diagnose equipment issues and support problem solving
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Operate within a small, skilled service team
• Maintain broad knowledge across pumps and rotating equipment
• Work flexibly and undertake overtime when required
