A hugely successful Machine Tool service provider is recruiting for an experienced service engineer to join their expanding team.
Recognized as one of the largest and most established suppliers of machine tool solutions in the UK, they supply, install, commission, and repair various types of CNC and Automation equipment. They have a strong network of engineers across the UK, along with technical support staff who are office-based. They have a head office here in the UK for equipment storage, refurbishment, and distribution, coupled with solid partnerships with customers across all forms of manufacturing.

Engineers tend to average around 45 hours per week including travel Monday to Friday, and this role does require engineers to work away from home during the week. There’s also a weekend callout rota that engineers can choose to pick up, getting paid a standby payment plus overtime door to door if they respond.

There are 16 trained technicians across the UK, along with technical support staff at the end of the phone for troubleshooting support.
Product training is provided in the first 6 – 12 months too, to develop skills on machinery or control panels that you’ve not had previous exposure to.
