Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking a Service Engineer to join their Paisley site on a permanent basis. The role involves servicing design and technology machines in schools, colleges and universities, with LEV testing where needed.

You will travel across Scotland, often working from home Monday to Thursday, and manage weekly routes and accommodation via the online portal. The ideal candidate will be able to perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, keep paperwork orderly, and communicate well,

Qualifications

• Full Driving Licence required.
• No issues with DBS.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Experience in maintenance/repairing machines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service design and technology machines in educational institutions.
• Carry out LEV tests on machines with dust extraction when required.
• Travel across Scotland and plan weekly routes; arrange accommodation via online portal.
• Maintain orderly paperwork and communicate effectively while working independently or in a team.

Our client are looking for a service engineer on a permanent basis to joing their expanding team at their Paisley site.

Job overview:

The role entails servicing design and technology machines in Schools, Colleges and Universities, also when necessary, carry out LEV tests on machines with dust extraction. The role involves travelling throughout Scotland and working from home typically Monday to Thursday, therefore the applicant must be able to plan weekly routes and manage their accommodation bookings using our online portal.

Applicants should be used to undertaking planned preventative maintenance, diagnosing fault, the person will need to keep orderly paperwork, have good communications skills and be able to work on their own.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Work unsupervised, and as a team
• Full Driving Licence
• No issues in the company applying for a DBS
• Electrical experience preferred
• Experience in maintenance/repairing of machines
