HPC Compressed Air Systems field service engineers are responsible for accomplishing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on HPC or customers' compressed air equipment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Carry out hands-on preventative and reactive maintenance of compressors and related systems and components.
2. Plan and complete maintenance tasks in a cost-effective, timely manner.
3. Ensure compliance with procedural and documentary requirements.
4. Complete accurately and submit all Service Reports, Timesheets, and other documents needed for the smooth operation of the Service Department.
5. Be flexible in undertaking various tasks to optimize available labor in the Service Department.
6. Maintain full and responsible communication with the customer and HPC concerning their allocated jobs and movements.
7. Problem solve on technical and safety issues.
8. Foster an atmosphere of “Safe Working”, ensuring colleagues understand their responsibilities and obligations in contributing to a safe working environment.
9. Undertake training on products when required, both in the UK and Germany.
10. Be available for emergency out-of-hours duty as per the emergency call-out rota.
11. Carry out maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
12. Complete checklists/POWRA accurately.
13. Handle and sign off service reports correctly.
14. Keep accurate records of work completed via timesheet.

Qualifications & Experience (minimum level of requirement):

• A formal technical training such as an HND or HNC, or equivalent, with a minimum of two years practical experience working with industrial rotating equipment.
• Experience working with industrial rotating machines in a service industry, demonstrating good hand skills and problem-solving abilities.
• A current driving license is essential.
• Experience and history in the Compressed Air Industry would be advantageous.
