Job description

A fantastic manufacturing company in East Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to service clients and customers Nationally and Internationally. This is a Monday to Friday days role and with continuous growth and investment, this company is going from strength to strength.

The successful Service Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Maintain a full understanding of the Installation/Maintenance/Repair of all machinery supplied and serviced by the company
  • Install new machinery and provide on-site training for customer operators.
  • Inspect equipment is fit for purpose prior to despatch and after installation/maintenance /service/repair is carried out.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety standards and directives.
  • Travel throughout UK and abroad as requested – including overnight stays.
  • Provide accurate technical advice.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building strong professional relationships.
  • Provide training on equipment to customers, running machines for customer demonstrations and factory acceptances.
I am keen to see your CV if you are a good, time served multi skilled service engineer with relevant qualifications, NVQ level 3 and 17th/18thedition advantageous. Must have good communication skills, professional, friendly, positive and enthusiastic. A good team player and also has the ability to work well on your own.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with flexibility during International and National installs. Salary is competitive and there is also overtime potential, daily travel allowance and flexi-time available.
