A really good Field Service Engineer role covering the UK for a market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry. Home based, you will be ideally living in Northern England and ideally on the M62 corridor, although we will consider anyone living north of Birmingham.

Salary & Benefits

BASIC SALARY: up to £48,000

• Overtime and Bonus to earn up to £60,000

LOCATION: Home based and covering the whole UK ideally living on or near the M62 corridor although we will consider anyone living north of Birmingham

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Stoke, Sheffield, Hull, Lincoln

Job Description

Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Machinery / PPMA

This is a classic Field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, installation & commissioning (as well as generating after sales revenue where applicable) of a range of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry.

You will be expected to stay away from home 2 to 3 nights per week on average and will work weekends circa once per month.

Overtime is paid door to door.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include repair, refurbishment, installation & commissioning of packaging machinery and related after-sales activities where applicable.

Person Specification / Qualifications

• You MUST have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer with specific experience of working within the food industry ideally having worked with packaging machinery.
• The company WILL also consider experienced food industry factory Maintenance Engineers with hands on experience of working upon packaging machinery.
• You MUST be a qualified Electrical & Electronic or multi skilled Engineer.
