On behalf of my client, we are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join a forward-thinking and fast-growing team. The company specialises in maintaining critical air conditioning and chiller equipment, placing a strong emphasis on efficiency, compliance, and innovation. Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Your Role

As a Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the optimal performance of HVAC systems. Your responsibilities include:

Independently managing split/multi-split systems, DX and CW FCUs.
Compiling and presenting detailed dilapidation reports to maintain work accuracy.
Performing maintenance and repairs on VRV, VRF condensers, and CRAC units.
Conducting routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits and advanced fault-finding tasks.
Ensuring that all work reports are completed to high standards, accurately and on-time.
Adhering to industry standards, safety regulations, and internal company policies.
Staying informed and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies.You will also play a role in driving the company's growth and success by aligning with its core values, vision, and forward-thinking policies.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration or equivalent.
Category 1 F Gas qualification or equivalent.
A full, clean driving licence.
Key Skills & Attributes:

Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written.
High attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and office teams.
Proficiency in using manufacturers' service software to enhance workflow.
A solid understanding of data and its relevant applications.
Desirable (But Not Essential):

Experience working with chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and refrigeration systems.

What A Typical Day Looks Like

Conducting on-site visits to carry out maintenance, repairs, and resolve faults.
Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure operational tasks run seamlessly.
Preparing detailed technical reports while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Communicating clearly with clients and colleagues to provide updates and effective solutions.
Regularly reviewing and staying up-to-date with Health and Safety regulations.
