Ltd is currently working with a leading company in the machine tool industry. Due to strong business performance in recent years, they are expanding their service team and seeking a skilled Machine Tool Service Engineer with experience in CNC machine servicing to support their growing operations on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

Ltd is partnering with a leading manufacturer of CNC machinery that provides innovative solutions across various industries. They require an experienced Field Service Engineer with a background in CNC machine servicing and machine tools to carry out scheduled service and repair work on both a nationwide and international basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled servicing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of special-purpose machinery at client sites.
  • Ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, minimizing downtime for customers.
  • Provide technical support and on-site training to clients.
  • Carry out both mechanical and electrical work, including pneumatic systems, and be able to work from circuit drawings.
  • Conduct machine alignment using dial test indicators (DTIs) and granite surface plates to ensure precision.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the development of service proposals and reports.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications within an engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in a field service role with exposure to machine tools or CNC servicing.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
  • Experience in CNC machinery servicing, including axial alignment and precision measurement techniques.
  • Understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to read circuit drawings.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
