Job summary

Stannah is seeking a skilled Service Engineer for London & South East London. You will service and repair stairlifts, micro-lifts, and goods lifting equipment, with a salary up to £52,000 including OTE, based on skills and experience.

The role is based at our Orpington Service Branch, focusing on delivering excellent customer care, undertaking risk assessments, and maintaining safe, reliable equipment. A valid UK driving license and DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge is essential.
• Stairlift experience is preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence required; DBS check may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, minor repairs and call-out visits on disabled aid products, micro-lifts and goods lifts.
• Maintain high standards of service and customer care.
• Conduct effective risk assessments.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Experience: Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge is essential, along with stairlift experience.
• A valid UK driving license and a clean DBS are required.

Working Conditions:

Your working hours will be from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM on Fridays. You will also participate in our on-call rota, receiving a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment in addition to your base salary.
