Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out regular maintenance service visits to lifts and equipment within allocated area.
- Build excellent customer relationships with all clients on their route, especially for clients with "Warranty" lifts to secure ongoing service contracts.
- Provide Head Office with client ownership information when available.
- Plan daily/weekly/monthly work schedules and routes efficiently to minimize travel and non-productive time.
- Report to the customer or their representative upon arrival to assess the lift(s) status.
- Perform routine service according to planned maintenance schedules, adhering to safety, performance, and quality standards.
- Complete service reports and obtain client signatures upon job completion.
- Conduct initial Risk Assessments on new lifts and review/update on subsequent visits, addressing hazards and posting warnings as needed.
Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing relevant service information and updates.
- Maintain existing service contracts and secure new ones for warranty lifts, repairs, or modernization projects.
- Update Head Office with client ownership information when applicable.
Administration and Reporting
- Submit accurate weekly job sheets, service reports, and timesheets following company procedures.
- Provide Head Office with client ownership details when available and appropriate.
Health, Safety, and Environment
- Comply with all HSE regulations, guidelines, and company procedures.
- Use and maintain PPE appropriately and keep it in good condition.
Company Van and Tools
- Maintain the company van in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Ensure all tools, instruments, and materials are stored securely and report damages immediately.
- Manage inventory and submit requisitions timely to prevent shortages.
Additional Skills
- Lift Maintenance: Capable of performing basic service and maintenance on most lift types.
- Customer Focus: Ability to build effective relationships and exceed customer expectations.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Understands and proactively implements safety procedures.
