Job summary

phs Group plc is seeking a Service Driver in Southall to join Teacrate's UK operations. You will deliver and collect crates for removal companies, schools, retail units and other businesses, following planned routes on a PDA system and, if needed, using Sat Nav and a smartphone.

The role requires a full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months, fewer than 6 penalty points and no IN or DD endorsements within five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect from removal companies, schools, retail units, commercial businesses, etc.
• Follow planned routes and use PDA devices to confirm collections and deliveries; manage site access issues.
• Operate in-cab technology and use Sat Nav and smartphone when required.

Salary £33,283.42 per annum | 40 hours guaranteed

Permanent | Monday to Friday | No scheduled weekends

TheService Driverroleat teacrate will involve:

• You will deliver and collect from removal companies, schools, retail units, commercial businesses etc.
• You will follow planned routes, using PDA devices to confirm collections and deliveries, manage any site access issues.
• You are supplied with in-cab technology but if you can operate a Sat Nav and a smart phone, you will have no problem with these.

The Ideal candidate for teacrate service driver role will have:

• Safety and legal compliance are a must. We welcome applications from people with a good safety record.
• A Customer focused attitude.
• A full UK driving license held for at least 12 months. You must have less than 6 penalty points and no IN or DD endorsements of less than five years.
• Reliable, safety – conscious and professional.
• Good attention to detail.
