Citron Hygiene is a leading UK provider of washroom and waste services. We are seeking new Hygiene Technicians to join our Service Team. As a Hygiene Technician, you will play a vital role in servicing our customers' washrooms. If you enjoy working independently and as part of a team, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, this is the role for you.

A Hygiene Technician is responsible for duties including, but not limited to, driving to client sites to provide exemplary service and collection of sanitary disposal units, washroom products such as soap dispensers, air care, and more, ensuring the washroom or facility is serviced to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

1. Driving from your home to customer premises on your pre-planned route, which may include single or multiple stops depending on customer requirements.
2. Carrying out servicing and exchanges of Citron Hygiene products on-site.
3. Representing Citron Hygiene and providing outstanding customer service.
4. Maintaining communication with the Service Management team at the Service Centre throughout your workday to ensure all stops are completed and issues are escalated or resolved promptly.
5. Returning to the Service Centre once or twice a week to unload and replenish stock.

Qualifications:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 points.
• ADR Licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• ADR training may be necessary for the role.
• Patience, as travel during peak times can involve traffic delays.
• Comfortable working in washroom environments for all users.
• Professional conduct is essential for representing the business and serving customers effectively.

Citron Hygiene serves a diverse range of clients, including CQC-registered care providers such as care and nursing homes. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted vulnerable populations, especially in care homes.

The Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) has highlighted the heightened risks in care homes due to COVID-19. Under current regulations, individuals entering CQC-registered care facilities must be vaccinated unless exempt. It is desirable for candidates to have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
