Service Driver required for Car Dealership in Croydon

Position Details:

• Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a 1 in 2 rotational basis
• £28,256 Per Annum Salary
• Fantastic working environment

Our client, an automotive garage, is currently looking for an experienced and professional Collection and Delivery Driver for their car dealership service team.

The ideal candidate will be able to commute to the Croydon, Surrey area and possess good knowledge of South London, Surrey, Kent, and beyond.

Responsibilities of the Service Driver:

• Collection and delivery of customers' vehicles
• Movement of vehicles between sites
• Transporting vehicles to outside contractors
• Checking in customer vehicles upon arrival and uploading pictures onto the workshop app
• Parking customer vehicles during drop-off
• Assisting the workshop in bringing all vehicles in at the end of the day
• Cleaning courtesy cars and customer vehicles to a high standard
• Working within set timeframes and targets
• Planning journeys for collection and delivery, either by public transport or driving

Essential Skills:

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence (held for at least 3 years)
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Well-presented appearance, as you are the face of our client's company

Previous driving experience within the automotive sector would be advantageous.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota, on a 45-hour full-time permanent contract.

The annual salary is up to £28,256, with plenty of overtime due to the nature of the role.
