Job description

Role Details

OTE: £46,000 to £49,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Full time (40hpw). Monday to Friday. Out of hours call outs are also required on a rota basis across the team.

Location:The preferred location would be for the Engineer to be based within the Oxford/Newbury area. All areas would be considered.

Day to day

We work with a range of clients, including hotels, marinas, medical facilities, educational establishments, care homes, student accommodationetc. Therefore, the work requirement is likely to vary day by day, and the applicant must have the ability to carry out planned maintenance (servicing) and reactive breakdowns.

  • Perform routine maintenance on various systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
  • The ability to work unsupervised when required whilst also working as part of a team.
  • The ability to work to a high standard
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
About you

We are looking for a diverse range of applicants who have a real passion for their work. Whilst also being able to demonstrate a clear capability for the knowledge and skills required to enable them to work autonomously when required.

It would be beneficial but not essential for the right candidate to have the following qualifications

  • CCN1 – Core domestic national gas safety
  • CEN1 – Domestic central heating boilers
  • COCN1 – Core commercial national gas safety
  • CODNCO1 – Core domestic to core commercial
  • ICPN1 – First fix pipe installation < 75mbar
  • TPCP1A – Test and purge
  • CENWAT – Boilers and water heating appliances
  • CIGA1 – Indirect fired heating appliances
  • CDGA1 – Direct fired heating appliances
  • Full Driving licence (preferably clean)
  • OFTEC
  • LPG
